Mindful Motherhood

Stop struggling in motherhood, and start thriving!

You’re in the right place if you’ve had enough of trying to be the ‘perfect’ mother, are sick of feeling constantly busy, overwhelmed and burnt out, and are wanting something more.

You are ready to make some changes, take responsibility for your healing and invest in your personal growth and wellbeing. You know you need to honour yourself so that you can feel happier, more confident and more connected with yourself & others.

Does any of this sound like you?

I want you to feel supported on your motherhood journey, to help you to feel more calm and aligned so that you can enjoy the beauty of motherhood and be more equipped to manage the struggles.

I want you to find yourself again – to figure out who are as a mother and a woman.

The only problem is, you’re too busy &
don’t have enough time to prioritise you.

Well, that’s the story we’ve been sold anyway.

We’ve been conditioned to put everyone else’s needs before our own. That it is selfish to ask for what we need.

Imagine if, by honouring and nurturing yourself, and by putting your needs first, you are actually honouring your family.

When we look after the mother, her family and her community thrive.

When we fill up our own cup, we can then support our family and show up as the mother, partner, friend, and family member we truly want to be.

Imagine what your day would look like, if you woke up feeling calm and confident in yourself as a mother and a woman? If you were happy and relaxed, what impact do you think this would have on your family? On your relationship?

This is exactly why I created Mindful Motherhood – to help you connect with yourself again, fill up your cup and know your worth – so that you can show up as the best version of you for your family.

Frequently Asked Questions

This is perfect for you if you’re out of the fog of early motherhood, but feel like something is missing. You’re ready to take action in order to move from struggling in motherhood, to thriving. You’re ready to put yourself first, knowing that when we fill up our own cup first we can show up in a more aligned way for our family. You know things aren’t going to change on their own, and you really want this support to honour your motherhood transformation and feel more calm, connected and confident.

If you don’t plan to engage meaningfully in the program, aren’t willing to make changes in the way to approach motherhood, and you’re looking for a quick fix – this isn’t the right program for you.

This program is not designed to offer psychological treatment or therapy. If you experience a mental health condition, you are more than welcome to enrol in this program, however it is strongly recommended that you engage in specific psychological treatment and gain professional support for your mental health.

Of course! I will be facilitating the Mindful Motherhood group sessions to offer group support, and I am also here for you if you have extra questions or just want to share your reflections with me via email.

I also offer private psychological support and you are more than welcome to book in appointments with me if you want individual support as you move through the program (these are at an additional cost of $175 per 50 minute consultation).

The program is limited to 12 women. This is to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to connect and share during each of the group sessions. It will be a small, intimate group of ladies who are experiencing similar things in motherhood and hold shared values.

The online content will be available to you for 6 months after completion of the program, however I highly recommend you complete each module as we move through the program so you can make the most of the Mindful Motherhood group sessions.

In short – yes, you can still enrol. The modules and journal reflections will allow you to move through the program independently and I am confident you will still gain a lot of value from these aspects of the program.

Unfortunately, the Mindful Motherhood group sessions will not be recorded for privacy and confidentiality reasons, so this is only available if you can attend live, however it is not imperative that you attend every week (although highly recommended).

If you withdraw from the program more than 7 days before program commencement, you will receive a full refund (minus a $50 booking fee), however if you withdraw from the program within 7 days, your entire payment will be forfeited.

Once enrolments open, you will be able to pay in full or opt for a 6-week payment plan.

My Story

My name is Bec! I’m a Psychologist, HypnoBirthing Practitioner and mumma to three beautiful children (5, 3 and 1).

My early motherhood experience was extremely challenging, and possibly one of the hardest times in my life. It was exhausting, isolating, and confusing. I threw myself into being a mother and I completely forgot to meet my own needs. I often felt like I was failing and struggled to trust my instincts. When I learnt about matrescence – the intense transformation a woman experiences as she moves through motherhood – my struggles started to make sense.

Motherhood is the best journey I have ever been on, but unfortunately we need so much more support than we are provided. So I created this program to support you to move from struggling to thriving in your motherhood transformation. This program is about you – honouring you, nurturing you and helping you to connect in with who you are now you’re a mumma!

So please join me, I’d love to support you on this journey!

You can do this, even if…

You're busy!

Of course you’re busy, you’re a mumma. But I can pretty much guarantee you spend a fair bit of time scrolling on social media or watching trashy TV (and so do I, these things are my outlet) - but I wonder if you could find 1-2 hours per week (even in 15 minutes chunks) to prioritise you and see meaningful change in your life. Plus, I’ve included audio recordings for the online modules so you can listen on the go, because let’s be honest, us mumma’s are great multi-taskers.

You're tight on cash

If this is you, I totally understand. We’re living through a pandemic and a lot of us are experiencing financial stress at the moment. That’s why I offered a fortnightly payment plan option - for less than $100 a week you can get some amazing support on your motherhood journey (this is less than half of what it costs for one session with a psychologist).

Consider it an investment in your mental health and wellbeing. Also, I’ve had so many mumma’s reflect on how much money they spend on their kids - for lessons, playgroups, clothes, you name it, but never invest in anything for themselves. Give yourself permission to prioritise you for a change, mumma - you deserve it!

You're anxious about sharing in the group

This is so normal - it can feel quite vulnerable sharing your story, experiences or struggles with a new group of women. Rest assured, you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable sharing. It is completely up to you. But I want you to know, I’ve got you.

I’m a psychologist and have heaps of experience supporting people with anxiety, and creating groups that are warm, gentle and safe. This could be exactly what you need to connect with other mumma’s in a beautiful space.

I’ve given you all the information for Mindful Motherhood, it’s now time to decide whether you want to take the leap. I only have spots available for ten beautiful women, and I would love for you to be one of them.

If you’re still on the fence, please send me an email at rebecca@themindfulbirthmovement.com.au and share with me what is holding you back and I’ll let you know if I think you’re a good fit for this program (and answer any other questions you might have).

I can’t wait to help you transform your motherhood experience (even if you feel like you’re not a priority right now) so that you can be the best version of you for your family!
